1:1 Meetings with Liz & Greta

WORKPLACE SCENARIOS

*** Complete projects in any order. When all projects are completed, choose TWO projects to send to Liz for feedback. ****

Postcard -

Create a postcard for your business using www.canva.com. (Create a FREE account.) This could be a postcard for an upcoming event, your summer business schedule, or a sale. Download as a JPEG and email as an attachment to Liz.

Business Letter -

Write a business letter from your business requesting to open a charge account with one of your vendors. For example, you buy your office supplies from Staples. You have always charged this on the company credit card. You are a reliable and long-time customer. Now, you would like to open a business account with Staples so that you do not have to use the company credit card every time you buy office supplies.

Spreadsheet -

Create a pricing spreadsheet for office supplies (or inventory items) to compare pricing across three different companies. When an item is sold in bulk (example: package of ten pens for $5.00) create a column for price per item and use a formula. (Use Google to find each company's prices)

Email -

You just received your bank statement in the mail. You were charged a $6 fee for the paper statement, but you had requested to receive electronic statements two months ago. Write an email asking for the paper statement fee to be taken off your account and the switch to electronic statements to be confirmed. CONSIDER ALL the information you need to include in the email to be "one and done".
