    • Show how you are a FIT for their business and give examples (think soft skills!) of your past experience and how it makes you a strong candidate now

  • 3rd & 4th paragraphs - soft/hard skills you used at past jobs that will work for this new job

EXCEL - Practice Scenario

You have set a BIG goal to start saving 5% of your gross earnings every pay period. You want to use Excel to track and calculate this savings goal for you. Create a spreadsheet template to:

  • ENTER pay date, your hours worked, and hourly wage
  • Use FORMULAS to calculate your gross pay and how much money reaches your 5% savings goal for each month
  • ENTER amount actually saved 
  • Use a FORMULA to calculate percentage of gross wages actually saved
