One on One Work Sessions with Liz (Quickbooks)
Project 1: Business Letter
Write a business letter on your company letterhead requesting to open a charge account with one of your vendors. For example, you buy your office supplies from Staples. You have always charged this on the company credit card. You are a reliable and long-time customer. Now, you would like to open a business account with Staples so that you do not have to use the company credit card every time you buy office supplies.
Project 2: Spreadsheet
Create a pricing spreadsheet for office supplies (or inventory items) to compare pricing across different companies. Use Google to find each company's prices.
EXAMPLE:
STAPLES OFFICE MAX
ITEM QTY COST Cost/item QTY COST Cost/item
black pens 10 $10.99 = QTY/COST
Project 3: Quickbooks
AR: Make two new invoices for two new customers, receive payments, and make deposit.
AP: Enter two new bills, pay bills, and write checks.
